EPLF/MMFA information sheets: Provide practical recommendations and define minimum requirements as well as higher quality standards. Many SELIT products meet these higher requirements.

Moisture protection (SD): Protects mineral substrates from residual construction moisture to prevent damage to the floor.

Load capacity (DL, CC, CS): Must withstand permanent, dynamic and temporary loads – for example, from furniture, foot traffic or short-term loads.

Thermal insulation (R-value): A high value protects against the cold; a low value is ideal for underfloor heating systems to allow heat to pass through efficiently.

Punctual conformability (PC): Prevents hollow spots under the floor, especially with click systems.

Impact sound reduction (IS): Reduces noise in adjacent and underlying rooms.

Walking noise reduction (RWS): Dampens footsteps in the same room and increases living comfort.

Protection against falling objects (RLB): Improves the impact resistance of the floor and protects against damage.
