How can you make sealing wall connections easier?
One of the most sensitive areas when laying floating floors is the wall connection area. Inadequate moisture protection can quickly lead to damp and mould. This can cause permanent damage to the skirting board and floor covering.
Sealing is absolutely essential at this point. What is a bit of fiddly work with conventional aluminium tape is child’s play with SELITplus AquaStop Moulding Protection Belt. The tape is more stable thanks to an integrated thin foam and has a groove in the middle. This makes it very easy to stick it in the angle between the floor and the wall, protecting the skirting board and floor from residual construction moisture.
